LORIOT announces to have passed the external audit for ISO 9001 and 27001.

LORIOT has passed the external audits of both ISO 9001 and 27001, obtaining the corresponding ISO certifications that ensure the company meets essential quality and management principles.

Langnau am Albis, Switzerland - LORIOT , the IoT company enabling long-range IoT networks worldwide, announces passing multiple ISO certifications, meaning that the company obtained a seal of approval that it runs to international standards developed and published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).

DQS, the company that performs certifications and audits for organizations worldwide, provided LORIOT with paramount guidance throughout every step of the process, as well as thorough revisions of their newly implemented management system.

As a global company, LORIOT’s aim is to ensure the highest level of consistency and relevancy in its products and services, offering premium quality to its clients and stakeholders.

ISO certification declares that a management system, manufacturing process, service, or documentation procedure meets all the requirements for standardization and quality assurance.

The Swiss-based company now meets certifications 9001 and 27001, meaning it now up to the standards and criteria for meeting a number of quality management principles, as well as those that define how the organization addresses information security.

“One of our key values is to offer premium quality to all our clients, perfectly aligned with specific project requirements. With ISO 9001, we have implemented a Quality Management System through the ISO’s quality management principles. The standards are very important to us and now define our internal and external policies and procedures, to achieve a consistent and premium quality offering.” said Chiara Fezzardi, CFO and Operations Manager at LORIOT.

“Safeguarding all types of data is something that we hold of critical value at LORIOT. We take care of the information that we work with, protecting it from damage, loss and other acts of manipulation without consent. Obtaining ISO 27001 shows our absolute commitment towards security.” added Gianni Zizzi, CTO at LORIOT.

With both ISO certifications in place, the company is now able to provide all of its clients and stakeholders with quality and security reassurance. Moreover, the brand new ISO certifications allow LORIOT to meet the most strict requirements of large customers and partners.

The company’s goal is to carry on working on continuous improvement across all areas.
In addition to vigorous effort, LORIOT remarks that both audits have been successful due to the exceptional implementation of both quality and security processes since its inception.
