Technical Support Engineer

Role Definition

As the “Technical Support Engineer” within LORIOT you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to customers using the LORIOT Network Management System (NMS) and related components. You will work closely with other teams, including sales, engineering, and product development, to provide timely and accurate support to customers.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing timely and accurate technical support to customers, troubleshooting technical issues, and creating and maintaining technical documentation and knowledge base articles. You will also be responsible for providing training to customers and internal teams on LPWAN products and solutions, and for participating in product testing and validation activities.

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities are to:
  • Respond to customer inquiries and technical issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Provide technical guidance and support to customers using our LPWAN platform
  • Identify, diagnose, and troubleshoot technical issues related to our platform
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by following up with customers to confirm the successful resolution of technical issues
  • Support the creation of technical documentation and user manuals
  • Participate in product testing and validation activities
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to LPWAN and IoT
  • Work closely with the product and development team to raise missing features, product issues and bugs


  • Become an expert in the field IoT and its LPWAN technologies (mainly LoRaWAN & Mioty)
  • Master LORIOTs product and be able to provide meaningful support to our customers
  • Achieve high customer satisfaction ratings by providing timely and accurate technical support
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing exceptional service and supporte
  • Continuously improve technical knowledge and skills through ongoing training and professional development opportunities
  • Contribute to the development of new LPWAN products and solutions by providing feedback from customer interactions and participating in testing and validation activities
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve customer experience and technical support processes, and work with cross-functional teams to implement changes
